This embroidery file comes in several sizes.....4x4, 5x5, 5x7, and 8x8 for the boy version.  This is a bean stitch applique.

PLEASE NOTE:  Knowledge of how machine appliques work is a must.  I highly recommend using Heat N Bond Lite on the backs of all applique fabrics.  It helps to keep the fabric nice and crisp.  When trimming your fabric on the bean stitch applique, you must trim a solid 1/4" away from the edge to prevent it from pulling away from the stitches.  It's meant to have an unfinished look.
